Jetpack's standard B2C pricing includes the following:
You've been given special pricing that you can review via the "Pricing" dashboard of the Jetpack platform.
By partnering with Jetpack, you've gained access to our intelligent rate cards that choose the optimal carrier for each package, at a number of service levels, including:
While our intelligent rates are the most cost-effective, you also have access to great rates from all major carriers, too.
All of our fulfillment rate cards are "all-in" and include each order's first pick, standard packaging, all processing, and the cost of shipping. Extra picks per order are charged at your agreed upon pricing.
B2B orders (those typically shipped to retailers or wholesalers) are larger requests than B2C orders. If an order is 25 units or more, it must be submitted as a B2B order in the Jetpack dashboard.
Your B2B fulfillment rates use the same all-in rate card as your B2C orders, with the addition of the following fee schedule:
Note: B2B parcel orders shipped utilizing Jetpack labels will not be charged a material fee or a fee to physically apply the shipping label(s), but additional B2B label fees will be charged to physically apply other label types to the carton or label (for example GS1 labels).
FBA prep is a service for merchants shipping at least 400 non-FBA shipments per month through Jetpack. Using FBA prep with Jetapck, you can transfer inventory from any Jetpack fulfillment center to any FBA facility. Jetpack will prep the order(s) with FBA item labels and box labels, acting as your central logistics hub.
Jetpack has a pick fee cap that varies based on whether Jetpack Operations team is picking individual units (eaches) or cases, and picking fees are capped per storage location (bin, shelf, or pallet) from which Jetpack's Operations team is picking the units from. This picking fee cap is intended to help alleviate high picking fees for larger orders. Picking fee cap criteria:
For B2B/FBA cancellation and restocking requests, we bill you at the same labor charges as the original order.
And finally, for B2B/FBA orders, if you require a rush on an hour (completion within 48 hours of receiving your notification), our rush order fee is $150 + $45/hr, with a 4 hour minimum. This means the minimum fee you'll see for a rush order request is $330.
In your contract, Jetpack establishes a quarterly fulfillment minimum in order to ensure our clients are continuing to operate at a minimum threshold. These minimums are set vastly below where your average quarterly volumes sit. There is also a 90-day grace period after the first full calendar month when your initial inventory arrives at Jetpack's fulfillment center(s) that you will not be subject to fulfillment minimums.
This minimum spend encompasses spending on B2C, B2B, and kitting orders (fulfillment fees, pick fees, etc.). It does not include warehousing, inbound receiving (WROs), or other fees outside of fulfillment and kitting.
As long as your total spend on B2C, B2B, and kitting orders exceeds the minimum fee, you will not be charged a fulfillment minimum. If your spend is below the minimum in any quarter following our 90-day grace period, you will be charged for the difference between your actual spend and the minimum fee.
When incoming shipments cannot be received within our usual turnaround time due to missing/inaccurate information on the WRO, we will stop the receiving process and move the boxes/pallets to an on-hold receiving status. This will create an unidentified receiving order (URO).
To learn more about UROs and how to resolve them, please navigate here.
The reason for the URO will determine the pricing:
In the case of extraordinarily large or heavy B2C parcel shipments, we apply only one of the below listed fees.
The "Additional Handling" fee applies on any shipment where the following conditions are met:
The "Large Handling" surcharge only applies to FedEx or UPS shipments -- and cancels out the Additional Handling fee -- if one of the below conditions are met:
In the case of addition to the large handling surcharge, the weight used to calculate pricing is increased to the greater of the billable weight of the package and 90 pounds.
*The girth of the parcel is calculated as (2* Width in inches) + (2* Height in inches). The length is defined as the longest side, width is the second-longest side, and height is the shortest side.
We charge a small $0.25 fee per package for the extra labor/training required to process these items, as well as the increased shipping costs we incur to ship dangerous goods/HAZMAT products.
We charge a small $0.30 fee is for the extra labor and packaging materials needed to pack fragile items. It is applied to every item marked as Fragile in the Jetpack dashboard.
We charge $0.50 per order for gift notes. Once you enable gift notes on your Jetpack account, any order that contains a gift message will receive a printout of the unique message.
For shipments valued over Jetpack's courtesy insurance (USD $100 for parcel or USD $500 for freight), we highly recommend adding additional insurance in the Jetpack dashboard. Additional insurance allows us to claim the full insurance value of the product(s) validated as lost/damaged in transit by the carrier.
We currently charge 1.875% of your indicated insurance value. When purchasing this additional insurance, Jetpack will attempt to seek full recovery from the carrier on your behalf.
If an item is marked as "This item requires serial number scans" in the Jetpack dashboard, we will scan serial numbers when we pick your orders to provide visibility into which specific item was shipped (as opposed to just the SKU). We charge $1.50 per serial number scan.
You can choose to have an order require a signature at the time of delivery to the recipient. To enable a signature for your order, please follow the steps here. Note: A signature is automatically applied if the insurance amount is $300 or greater.
Requiring a signature upon delivery of an order helps to ensure that the package is received by its intended recipient. You can choose to have an order that is fulfilled by Jetpack require a signature at the time of delivery to the recipient by indicating this in your Jetpack dashboard. Fees for this service are below.
Additional notes on signatures:
Unlike direct carriers and most other 3PLs, Jetpack includes fuel surcharges with our intelligent shipping rates. This makes a massive difference when it comes to predicting your ongoing shipping spend. We will maintain this advantage for our clients so long as US On Highway Diesel is below $5 per gallon. In the event prices move above $5 per gallon, a fuel surcharge of 0.25% per 9 cents above $5 may be added until the fuel price returns to normal.
A return is a request for Jetpack to receive and perform actions to inventory that gets sent back to our fulfillment center either by your customer or due to a delivery failure (based on what you set in your dashboard for the product’s Returns Preferences). Jetpack does not handle refunds or exchanges; we simply process the inventory according to your Returns Preferences. There are two types of returns:
Return to sender (RTS): A return that results from a carrier delivery failure and is sent back to Jetpack by the carrier. You will be charged a fee equivalent to the original cost of the shipping label.
Customer-initiated return: A return that is sent back to Jetpack by your customer and created by you in the Jetpack dashboard. We charge a flat $3 fee for customer-initiated returns.
Visit our returns guidebook for more information on how it all works.
Package Interception
If Jetpack's Merchant Care team can successfully intercept your customer’s package (per your request), you will be charged the carrier fee + 15%, in addition to the fulfillment invoice for the order.
Shipping Correction Surcharges
Carriers weigh and measure all packages they receive, which can result in an increase to the shipping cost if there is a discrepancy between what Jetpack calculated it as and what the carrier weighed it as (background on why this happens below). If this happens, you will only be charged the difference between what the carrier charged Jetpack and what was originally quoted.
For example, if an order was inputted as 12x12x12 inches, but the carrier determined the dimensions of the package were 12x13x13 inches, the order would be repriced as 12x13x13 inches per your pricing plan.
Jetpack will pass this surcharge on to you if the order meets the following criteria:
The currency of your Jetpack dashboard is set to USD by default, but you can be billed in AUD, CAD, EUR, or GBP.
Your dashboard's local currency must match the fulfillment center country you are fulfilling from.
You will receive invoices weekly, payable on receipt. Net 15 can be arranged upon approval.
