Are there any hidden costs with Jetpack?

Nope! Jetpack is about bringing your ecommerce shipping costs down, not up. No monthly fees, no "emergency fees," no nonsense. Our all-in rate cards are simple to understand, and there are no "processing fees." Our rates include standard packaging, processing, and even the first pick from every order!

Is Jetpack a 3PL or a 4PL?

Those labels are worn out, and don't really describe what Jetpack has managed to pull off for its brands. We're far more integrated with our partners than a 4PL, and we aren't a single 3PL.

Instead, we've worked hard to solidify deep relationships with the best 3PL warehouses on Earth, as well as key partnerships with other service providers in the business. We've licensed the best pieces of their technology, leased space in their warehouses, and built direct, rapid lines of contact with the boots on the ground in all of them.

This deep integration and relationship building is why our brands' costs actually go down instead of up, as they would with traditional 4PL consultants. We're using the combined volume of our brands to negotiate better rates than you'd get by going to 3PLs directly.

But the real value comes from the deep logistics experience on our executive team, and our focused, personalized approach to client care.

All of this comes together to build what is really an optimized version of a 3PL, with all of the strategic and dedicated support that would come with a 4PL. We see this as a next generation approach to outsourced fulfillment.

What carriers can I use with Jetpack?

You have multiple options for carriers when you fulfill with Jetpack. We have relationships with every major carrier in the USA and Canada, as well as the cream of the crop when it comes to regional carriers. You're always free to choose any single carrier, and can create rules to map certain carriers to regions, products, and more.

One of our strengths, however, is an approach to shipping called Carrier IQ. We've built engines for ground, 2-day, and overnight shipping that combine the best carrier options for each service level, and intelligently selects the best last mile carrier depending on an order's destination, weight, and associated rate.

This optimizes shipping rates in a way other 3PLs can't. You'll find significant savings with these three engines, and the vast majority of our brands elect to use these services.

Can Jetpack integrate with my existing WMS, Shipstation, Shopify, or other ecommerce platform?

While we've built our own full-featured shipping platform, we get that many companies already love the tools they're using.

From Shopify to Amazon to Netsuite and everything in between. We've got one-click integrations for dozens of shipping management systems, ecommerce platforms, marketing tools, support systems, and more.

How does support work? Who do I call?

This is our greatest strength, and a core differentiator that sets us apart from the rest. We built Jetpack to solve a widespread problem: brands aren't getting enough direct, intelligent, caring, or responsive support at today's 3PLs.

The brands that have moved to Jetpack tell us stories of endless automated emails, impersonal responses, and a lack of understanding or empathy when things go wrong. They tell us that they hear "no" far more often than "yes" when they're looking for some good old fashioned problem solving at their current 3PL. They tell us that even though they're shipping thousands of packages per month, they're made to feel like a small fish in a big pond.

This is natural, of course. You need a 3PL with national scale and dozens of warehouses, all the trucks necessary to haul goods in between them, warehouses with the latest automation and sorting and scanning technology for reliability, and all the rest of it. But with the scale that comes along with that crucial technology, also comes millions of orders, and it's hard for these organizations to dedicate enough resources to support in a way that makes it feel attentive or personal, except for in the case of their largest few clients.

Well, we don't work with Coke or Pepsi-sized brands. We work with brands who are established - at least 2,000 orders per month - all the way up to brands who are shipping around to 75,000 per month. And by licensing the best technology and leasing space in the most high-tech warehouses, we're able to provide all of the benefits of a 3PL with massive scale, but we're also able to focus on solving the support problem.

It blew our minds to hear that brands who were doing that much volume were still getting poor response times, uncaring answers that missed the point, or long and drawn out resolutions at their existing 3PLs.

This was the realization that caused us to build Jetpack. We've built it around an approach to client care that favours instant communication via Slack to emails or chat bots. Your team gets immediate and always-on access to your dedicated manager through Slack, but the entire Jetpack team also has full visibility to your Slack channel.

This means that everyone at Jetpack - including our strategically-minded executive team - can jump in to help solve a problem in the moment, as well as find ways to optimize and improve your approach to avoid those problems in the future.

How do returns work at Jetpack?

Returns are a big part of any ecommerce business, and we've got you covered. We can manage all returns for you, both customer initiated and return-to-sender.

You get total product-level control over what is to be done with returned inventory, anything from disposal to restocking to returning it to you.

Like almost everything, this can be managed easily on the platform.

We have nearly 60 fulfillment centers in the USA, strategically driven by five primary hubs in the midwest, west coast, southwest, southeast, and northeast.

In addition we have six fulfillment centers in Canada, three in the UK, one in the Netherlands, and two in Australia.

How can Jetpack's rates be so low?

We're leveraging the combined volume of all our clients to bring you rates you wouldn't be able to get by going directly to a singular 3PL, carrier, or warehouse. We've achieved massive scale with over 65 warehouses across North America, Europe, and Australia. In addition, our technology automates a lot of things that other 3PLs still do manually or with inferior tech.

With all of that comes the ability to bring our brands preferred pricing, while still also offering the vastly improved client care that Jetpack has built its name on.

Can I ship out of warehouses in multiple countries?

Absolutely, in fact the majority of our clients are taking advantage of our cross-border strength in light of new tariff uncertainty and other changes. For example, you can store inventory in multiple Canadian and American warehouses - avoiding retail tariffs and taking advantage of domestic shipping rates in both countries - all from the same Jetpack platform.

You can even expand to our UK, European, or Australian warehouses, again, all combined with your North American operations on one single unified platform.

How much can I manage via the platform without contacting my Jetpack Care Manager?

Practically everything, and that's not an exaggeration. Our platform was built for teams who love to manage the flow of their inventory, orders, and shipments easily and without time-consuming manual interventions.

The platform offers remarkable specificity around the status of receiving and counting inventory, order flow, picking, packing, hand-off to carriers, and the entire time in transit to your customer.

Easy, color-coded status readouts for every aspect of this journey are available to view in real-time, making it possible to answer customer queries at lightning speed. You are able to make changes to orders, adjust packaging instructions, and a myriad of other interventions, all via the platform.

And of course, the benefit of Jetpack is a dedicated care manager that is just a slack message away, meaning no matter what your team needs to accomplish, it will get done far faster than any old 3PL could muster.

Do you offer custom kitting services, and can I use custom packaging or insert brochures or flyers into my packages?

Absolutely. We offer full-service kitting at competitive rates, and we can also use your own custom packaging or inserts at your instruction. These are simply picked like any other SKU.

How do I send my inventory to you, and is it complicated?

This is one of the magical things about our platform. Within your dashboard, you simply create what is called a WRO, or "Warehouse Receiving Order." This includes the details of which SKUs you are sending, how many units, and how many boxes or pallets there are.

Your WRO provides a simple label for you to print out and affix to each one of your packages. This step is obviously important, as it allows our team to scan it and reliably stow your inventory.

And that's it. You ship your packages or freight, and you can see your incoming product within your platform, and monitor its progress as it is received, counted, stowed, and eventually picked and packed.

Can you help me organize freight carriers or couriers for my incoming inventory?

Absolutely. While we aren't a carrier ourselves, if you don't have a relationship with a freight carrier or want great rates for ground shipments of boxes, we've got you covered. We have several partners we can set you up with that do great work for our brands.

Can you do B2B and retail?

Yes, we excel at not only D2C fulfillment, but any kind of B2B. Most of our brands do some form of B2B.

Whether it's Amazon FBA or FBM, big-box stores like Walmart or Target, or a myriad of smaller shops spread out across the world, we've got you covered.
